Players are to wear the following colors according to the primary position they would like to be evaluated as:
GREEN - Setters
BLUE - Middles
RED or PINK - Outside Hitters and Right Side Hitters
BLACK - Liberos
WHITE - Unsure/Open to any position
DO NOT WEAR ANY COUGAR STRONG OR SERVICE VOLLEYBALL GEAR TO TRYOUTS.
Tryouts are scheduled for August 7-9. There will be no tryouts or practice on Saturday, August 10.
10 - 12 p.m. - 9th and 10th Grade
1 - 3 p.m. - 11th and 12th Grade
Please note some 9th and 10th-grade players may be asked to come back for the afternoon session on day one or come to both sessions on the second and/or third day. Please do not make plans assuming you will be attending the same session each day.
Make sure that you have fully registered in Big Teams (formerly known as Planet HS - See Link Below): Physicals, Eligibility checks, and fees are done online! You must also upload a copy of your ASD Sports Physical Form (note physicals are good for 18 months, but cannot expire during the season)
ASD Sports Registration payment is made through Q Parent Connection (under tab: Online Payments) Fee is $200.00
Service Activities Department has assigned Volleyball Thursday, August 1 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm to pick up your Golden Tickets from Chelsea the Activities Admin.
YOU MUST HAVE A GOLDEN TICKET FROM THE ACTIVITIES OFFICE TO PARTICIPATE.
For those who make a team, the first day of practice will be Monday, August 12. The parent meeting will also be held at 6 PM in the Service Cafeteria. Tentative practice times are below, but please note these times are subject to change:
C-Team and JV: 4 - 6 PM
Varsity: 4 - 7 PM (weights and practice times vary within this time frame)
The Lady Cougar Volleyball Booster Club, Inc. (LCVBC) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation. The LCVBC works with the coaches, the Service High Activities Dept, players and parents to promote and support the Lady Cougar Volleyball Program. The LCVBC supports the team financially through fundraising for equipment, uniforms, travel, warm-ups and team bonding events. The LCVBC also supports the team with their volunteer efforts at games, tournaments and team events.
